Just make small script to do conversion from Garmin GPS data or maybe other GPS with (East/West & North/East) Degre and minute value format into latitude and longitude format that usually I used with google map.

Example Garmin Waypoint Data :

Waypoint NodeName User Waypoint S7 28.180 E110 56.250

It will South (S) 7 degree and 28.180 minute , East (E) 110 degree and 56.250 minute

google apps domain verification

I just setup a google apps for a domain, I have setup google app many time but this time something weird happen. Usually every we setup a google apps we need to verify our domain ownership but this time I can not find a “Verification” link that mention in google help.

I refresh the panel page many time and still don’t have “verification link”, then I try setup a new one, off course with different domain name, and the weird thing happen again, the verification link appear in this new domain ??

So I look at the verification link and modify it with my domain that didn’t have verification link, so the link format will be like this :

https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/CHANGE_THIS_WITH_YOUR_DOMAIN/VerifyOwnership

And now my domain verified ^^

Gmail Drive, using google mail as online drive

Right now, google offering so a lot fun stuff to us, one of them called ‘GMail Drive’, with GMail drive we will have a ‘online hard drive’. You can start by create a new google account / Gmail account, share the account ( with the password off course ) among your friend or your community and start file sharing with GMail drive

So what it’s look like ? After we install additional software, the GMail drive will look like physical drive in our computer. Here the step to own GMail drive in our computer (Sorry I just try it on Microsoft Windows, didn’t test in other operating system)

1. If you didn’t have Gmail account, you can get Gmail account by register in this address http://mail.google.com/mail/signup

2. If you have gmail account already, download the additional software, it call ‘GMail Drive shell extension ‘, it will make a ‘GMail Drive’
in our compter, you can get it here or you can get newest version on http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm

3. After get download the software, unpack/un-zip the file, and do installation by execute setup.exe

4. After installation, you will get ‘A GMail drive’ in your computer, check it on “my computer”

5. Login in to ‘GMail Drive’ by access the Gmail Drive in your computer, it will ask username and password, enter the gmail account
that you already have.

6. After successfully login, you can use ‘Gmail Drive’ as your reguler drive, try copy some file in to it

7. When you have finish upload some file, the file that you have upload will be like a email sent to you.

8. Finish, just like this
